The third letter arrived today for our Isla. She wrote to Michael D Higgins, the President of Ireland at Áras an Uachtaráin in Dublin. His personal secretary, Ashling Heeney wrote back to Isla on his behalf. In her letter she talked about his dog Bród that sadly passed away this year, she complimented Isla on her beautiful handwriting and asked about her family. Included in the letter was a signed photograph of the President and a photo of him with his two lovely dogs. Well done Isla.
