This week has been a special time where we have talked about how our brains feel and how to take care of our mental health, just like we take care of our bodies. It's about understanding that everyone has feelings, and it's okay to feel sad, happy, worried or excited sometimes.
This week in Year 3, we have talked about our feelings and what they mean. We made a 'worry box' where we post a worry, and discuss in our circletime how we approach a problem. We made our own stress balls which we squeeze when we need to calm down and use our calmimg breathing techniques at the same time. We did some mindful colouring in the afternoons. Lastly, we took part in physical exercise every day to feel good and have fun with our friends!
