On Friday, our school’s cross country team took part in the Flahavan’s North West Cross Country finals at Thornhill College. All 21 children performed to a very high level and were a credit to their school. Our girls finished first in the team event and our boys finished second in their section. Both teams will go on to represent the region in the Ulster finals. In a race consisting of over 60 competitors, Sophie McAllister was the top girl with Kaitlin Green finishing a close second. Cohen Hegarty was third in the boys’ individual race. Well done children!
